Chapter 1: Where It Started​

SEVSIDE began with Jay Flocka, a Harlem native who grew up surrounded by the realities of New York City street life. From a young age, Jay was exposed to an environment where arguments could turn into violence, shootings were part of the neighborhood's reality, and robberies and killings affected people close to home. Growing up around that environment shaped the way he viewed loyalty, trust, respect, and the people he kept around him.
Harlem was more than just the place Jay Flocka called home. It was where he grew up, made friendships, experienced losses, and learned how quickly circumstances could change. The streets around him were filled with different crews, personalities, and neighborhood conflicts. Chapter 2: Building the Name​
